Brand Ambassador - Pooja Batra
Pooja Batra is a former Miss India, model, actress & entrepreneur. Pooja began her modeling career when she was in her first year of college and won Miss India when she was a sophomore. Designers loved her presence on the runway and subsequently, she went on to become one of the most sought after runway models in India. She has done extensive print and runway work for fashion as well as advertising companies in India which include; Head & Shoulders, Liril, Parag Saree, Nokia Phones and Hallmark.
Pooja took a break from modeling in 1996 to concentrate on her budding career as an actor. Her first big screen role came in 1997, when she co-starred with Anil Kapoor & Tabu in Virasat. She was nominated for the FilmFare awards in 1997 for the "Most Promising Newcomer" and she won the Sansui Screen Award for the "Best Supporting Actress" for her debut performance. Since then, she has acted in more than twenty films including Haseena Maan Jayegi, Bhai, Chandrea-Lekha and Kahin Pyaar Na Ho Jaye, just to name a few. In 2006, she was again nominated for a Sansui Screen Awards, but this time in the category of "Best Actress" for her performance in Taj Mahal-An Eternal Love Story. Her latest movie is The Spirit Of Mumbai, which is slated to release in 2012.
Pooja has her own production Company Glow Bell Inc, which helps collaborate productions between Hollywood and Bollywood and is currently producing a TV show called Styloholics. In 2009 Glow Bell Inc, brought A-list actors Sylvester Stallone and Denise Richards to Bollywood for the movie Kambakth Ishq, Rapper Bohemia in Bollywood Movie Chandini Chowk to China and in 2010 Glow Bell Inc introduced LA Casting and ModelWire to the Indian Entertainment Market. Pooja maintains homes in LA and Mumbai.
